BofA Securities has raised its 2030 total addressable market forecast for global DRAM plus NAND memory to US$2.0tn, up from a previous estimate of US$1.8tn, arguing that record-high contract pricing is sustainable through the decade. The broker also lifted its 2027-28 DRAM ASP assumptions by 8-12% and NAND ASP assumptions by 2-3%, while its proprietary BofA Memory Indicator held at a record 180 in July. The call implies a long-term super-cycle rather than a cyclical peak, with a fair market capitalisation for the memory industry of US$10tn.
