UBS has raised its 2026-30 global humanoid robot demand forecast by more than 70% a year, citing faster-than-expected adoption in research, data collection and simple commercial use cases, but the broker still sees no humanoid “EV moment” before 2030. In the same report, UBS argues that AI is unlocking a larger near-term opportunity in traditional robotics — quadruped, collaborative, service, mobile and industrial machines — and keeps its preference for upstream component suppliers over OEMs.
