Corning Q3 Beat Masks Soft Q4 Guide: What It Means for GLW

In a report examining Corning’s third-quarter earnings beat alongside cautious fourth-quarter guidance, the analysis concludes that the headline beat was narrower than it appears. Corning Inc (GLW) delivered Q3 2026 revenue of $4.855bn against consensus of $5.019bn and an estimate of $4.954bn, a beat of roughly 3% on the top line. Reported EPS of $0.91 cleared consensus at $0.88 and the estimate at $0.81 by 12%. But free cash flow of $661m landed about 24% below both consensus and the estimate, a gap the analysis treats as a meaningful blemish on an otherwise solid quarter.
