UBS on Moderna: ESMO Melanoma Readout Is the Swing Factor — Neutral, US$150 TP

UBS has confirmed that Moderna Inc’s (MRNA) highly anticipated Phase III adjuvant melanoma study will be presented as a late breaker at ESMO, a disclosure that has lifted the shares roughly 8-10%. The broker keeps a Neutral rating and a US$150 12-month price target against a reference price of US$168.70 on 21 September 2026. UBS argues the stock could add a further 10-20% if the recurrence-free survival hazard ratio clears the street’s ~0.65 bar, with downside if it does not.
