This is not a fast-money system. Elder’s method is a swing/position approach — from a published order to final exit, holding periods are typically days to weeks, depending how long the weekly tide runs. If you’re looking for same-day trades, this is not the right tool (see our Qullamaggie AI Trader instead).

This is not an intraday system. This Elder AI Trader runs once per day, after the close. Every pending order is computed from the PRIOR session’s closing data, and every ‘fill’ is a simulated EOD/next-open execution — not a real intraday fill. If the market moves sharply intraday, we only see it at the next close.

This method does not aim for a very high win rate. Elder’s approach is about disciplined capture of pullbacks within an established tide, with SafeZone stops limiting single-trade losses and the 2%/6% Rules limiting account-blowup risk. Individual losing trades are normal and expected even when the method is executed perfectly — the point is long-run money-management discipline, not short-run accuracy.

Buy/Sell/Trade Grade is not a profit guarantee. These scores measure execution quality (how close a fill was to the day’s best price) — not whether the trade made money. A Grade-A trade can still lose if the market reverses; a Grade-C trade can still win.
